Welcome to my carnival of death
Pick a ride, how ‘bout a pig’s greased slide?
Darts of cyanide, dunked into a pool of lye
You’re gonna die, either way in time, yeah!
And you might ask I how got this way
Though some will say that I am just insane
Well, I don’t look at it that way
All I know is that I’m entertained, and…
Why do I crave what I crave?
How did I get so depraved?
What made me turn out this way
I’ll take the truth to my grave!
Nothing left
But anger and death
I’ve put everything else to rest
Nothing to feel
Except the cold blade of steel
Ooh, it gives me such a thrill!
Nothing left
But anguish and death
I’ve got nothing else to confess
Nothing to feel
Except the cold blade of steel
Ooh, it gives me such a thrill!
Nothing left
How did my heart turn from blood to black?
Well, I’m sure somebody will ask that
Well maybe spirits came, and they remained
And cursed me with all this rage, and…
How did her skin turn from bronze to blue?
Well only I will ever know the truth
She had a look in her eyes, like she wanted to die
It happens all the time, surprise!
Why do I crave what I crave?
How did I get so depraved?
How do I manage to escape?
Each time they find another grave!
Nothing left
But anger and death
I’ve put everything else to rest
Nothing to feel
Except the cold blade of steel
Ooh, it gives me such a thrill!
Nothing left
But anguish and death
I’ve got nothing else to confess
Nothing to feel
Except the cold blade of steel
Ooh, it gives me such a thrill!
Nothing left
Why did I crave what I craved?
How did I get so depraved?
What made me turn out this way?
I’ll take the truth to my grave
A criminally underrated album of a criminally underrated and underexposed genre. The production values here are so authentically 1980s. A good balance of traditional hard rock, synths, and strong melodies, with a spooky yet nostalgic feel, with the songs carefully curated for a strong experience start to finish. For those lonely nights, stuck in your bedroom, reminiscing days gone by: listen to this. cosmopolis
A deep synthwave trip into a blighted neon dystopia where androids and doomsday cults wreak havoc. Flashy, imaginative work from James Kent. Bandcamp New & Notable May 5, 2016
The great Cat Temper does it again! 10 more synthpop bangers with titles like “Growls on Film” and “Electric Pawpurrella.” Instant classic. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 11, 2023
This album catches you from the opening of the 1st track. IMHO, I prefer instrumental synthwave overall, & Magic Dance has released instrumentals!! The vocals here are smooth however. I know The Midnight is one of the biggest/most popular synthwave acts, but I DON'T care for the singer altho he's good. But to me you sound bitter. Also, LOVE the beautiful album covers!! 💯😎🌴🌞❤🎹⭐🎛🪐 Shane Dangers
